valentines day flowers him - Love and Diamonds in Glyndon

Just in time for Valentine's Day, an area community group is inviting residents out for an unusual evening of glitz, glamour and philanthropy in Glyndon.valentines day flowers him
As they enter the "Love & Diamonds Over the Valley" fund-raising event for the Glyndon Community Association at the Sagamore Farm House, a glass of champagne will greet guests.
But this glass of champagne might look a little brighter because it will be spiked with a jewel at the bottom.
Each person attending the event will have the chance to win a half-carat diamond from Nelson Coleman Jewelers in Towson valued at $1,200.
At the bottom of the glass, guests will either have the half-carat diamond or one made of cubic zirconia.
Expert jewelers will then analyze each person's stone until they discover who has the diamond.
It's a part of the fun of the dinner, which the Glyndon Community Association created to promote the spirit of community.
They're celebrating the occasion with music, dancing, food catered by Santoni's, and a silent auction of items from businesses and individuals in the Glyndon, Reisterstown, and Owings Mills areas.
Although the affair is in time for valentines day flowers him The Glyndon Community Association is limiting their ticket sales to 100 guests so that each person will have a higher chance of winning the diamond.
In addition, Nelson Coleman Jewelers will provide a $100 gift certificate to everyone who attends, a gift that will give them the opportunity to set their diamond or cubic zirconia stones into a ring or other setting.
Proceeds from "Love & Diamonds Over the Valley" go toward Glyndon Community Association programs. The group was formed in 1945 as the Glyndon Corporation, but changed the name to the Glyndon Community Association in 1956.
The event is Saturday, Feb. 11, from 7-11 p.m. at the Sagamore Farm House at 3510 Belmont Ave. in Reisterstown.
